Due to misinformation and rumors circulating concerning school violence, you will see increased police presence around Haleyville City Schools when deemed necessary. There have been no threats of violence in Haleyville City Schools. Students and parents have shared threats from other districts, most outside of our state, which increases anxiety about school violence. We will continue to take any precaution necessary to ensure the safety of our students.
