AnnabethThis Mountain Dew drinking junior has been a Haleyville Lion since Kindergarten! She enjoys art and photography and anything dealing with nature. She also enjoys a good horror story. She is an attentive, hard-working student.

James is a quiet, thoughtful student. He is very organized and strives to help others when he can. He really enjoys art and will be seen drawing if he has a spare minute.

Pearl is always enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated, and there's no doubt she will be successful. She's loyal to her friends and holds them accountable. She is friends with everyone and students and teachers enjoy being around her.

Sage Comeens’ teachers appreciate his demeanor and work ethic in the classroom and in the shop. He has been a Haleyville Lion for a long time and really enjoys welding. Sage is known for his singing, and he regularly performs, Elvis-style, at a local establishment.

Amelia is a responsible, mature young lady with a drive to succeed. She listens, volunteers in class, and is always willing to help others.

Landon is always very kind to his peers and willing to help others. He is respectful, kind, and hardworking in and out of the classroom.

Known by her teachers as a funny, dependable, hard-working student, Emma enjoys riding horses and playing golf. She has been a Lion for 11 years, and she may be observed participating in some of her favorite activities like going to movies, kayaking, camping, or church.

Caroline is a special young lady. Excelling academically, she maintains all A's and is a member of the 30+ ACT club. Her most endearing quality is her kindness.

Callie Beck has been chosen for this week’s Student Spotlight. She has been a Haleyville Lion her entire life. She enjoys reading and baking. While she claims she doesn’t have any unique talents, her teachers know her as a quiet, helpful student who has a gentle spirit.

Caleb is a quiet, hard-working student who enjoys history and chemistry. Being in the limelight does not seem to be his preference, and he would probably better enjoy going fishing, hunting, and scarfing a burger or two, but he deserves a shout-out for a job well done!

Naomy is a very intelligent young lady. She's always on task, asks though provoking questions, and is willing to help others. Being reflective, she excels in class discussion and critical thinking. With her potential, she will be a success story!

Josue always has a positive attitude. He is polite and respectful. I enjoy his commentary and his unique perspective on different topics. He willingly accepts challenges and isn't afraid to ask questions or lead discussions. This intelligent young man has a bright future!
